Gelato Vittorio - Natural Italian dessert


	Vijay Arora is a name to reckon with in the Indian fashion industry. As a leading designer, Arora has been participating in the India Fashion Week since its inception apart from his numerous shows and a showroom at the 1, MG Road in Delhi. Currently, the entrepreneur in Arora has taken over. Having completed his B.Com from Sydenham College, Mumbai, Arora attended Cornell University, USA, where he got his degree in Master's in Business Administration in 1987 with a specialization in Restaurant Management and Hotel Operations. While he started a business centre in New Delhi, his fascination for creativity led him to the world of fashion and food.

Being a gourmand, food continued to remain close to his heart. This passion for food has resulted in Arora setting up a new venture: GELATO VITTORIO. This is an entrepreneurial venture that has launched a brand of gelato or natural Italian (frozen) dessert. Having done extensive research on this subject, Arora has participated in specialized fairs in Italy and has even taken gelato making courses in Bologna, Italy.

Arora has launched Delhi's first Gelateria or Gelato Parlour on 5th May,
2005 at M-69 Greater Kailash Part One M Block Market. The response has been overwhelming as customers identify this product as a new, superior level of frozen dessert in terms of quality and range of flavours that Delhi has never seen before. Gelato Vittorio is already supplying to Diva, Olive and other restaurants in the city. Gelato Vittorio also has a kiosk at MGF Mall, Gurgoan. Other locations in Delhi and other metros are in the pipeline. In short, Gelato Vittorio is a name to reckon with as the quality is consistent and the price is reasonable.

MR ARJUN SHARMA

Arjun is one of the pillars of establishing fresh frontiers of Inbound Tourism in India and the Sub Continent ever since he joined the family business of SITA World Travel in 1984. Arjun was the Jt. Managing Director in charge of the Inbound Division in SITA when SITA was amalgamated into Kuoni in 2000. From 2000-2002, Arjun was the Chief Operating Officer & Director of Kuoni Travel. From 2002 – 2004, Arjun focused on the enhancement of the family hotel business. He is the Managing Director of Select Hotels whose 2 resorts are the - Heritage Village Manesar and Heritage Village Club Goa.
Towards end of 2004, Arjun joined Le Passage to India (LPTI) as a Chief Mentor to assist them in reaching a 50:50 joint venture agreement with TUI AG which is the world's largest integrated travel company and the single largest inbound tour operator bringing tourists to India. In January 2006 LPTI acquired Select Vacations Pvt. Ltd., an Outbound Company to partake in the great Indian outbound story. Arjun is now the CEO & Managing Director of LPTI which is now India's 2nd largest Destination Management Company well on is way to the top slot.

Other Interests:

Along with his family Arjun is developing a 1.4 million sq ft complex – Select Citywalk comprises of a retail mall, cinemas, offices, service apartments at Saket, which is in the heart of New Delhi. Arjun is also in the private equity space with a series of varied investments and was a Partner, Director and Shareholder with Deutsche Bank in a company called Deutsche Equity Advisory Services.
